Many children’s clothing companies begin with one designer mom who cannot find suitable clothing for her child. This is not Njuta’s story.

I am the woman behind Njuta and I love the incredible range of children’s clothing options available today. I enjoy nothing more than shopping for my son.

So why did I start Njuta Kids?

Njuta started when I challenged myself to design a new collection that was:
as beautiful as the best collections on the market
as functional as the best collections on the market
as creative as the best collections on the market
BUT, unique and different in some fundamental way.

As an industrial designer, I have always believed in the premise, “form follows function.” In order to create a collection that was unique in its essence, I studied the functions of children’s garments. I watched kids playing at the park and in their homes. I discovered that one way kids explore the world is to collect different things and carry them along. What better way to do this than with pockets?

Njuta Kids was born out of a playful exploration of pockets and their relationship to garments. The resulting collection is beautiful, functional, creative, and unique in its very essence.
